Singsong Dozens
(wild-cherry-turtled-pistachio-n-vanilla)
Baskin Robins knows (has previewed & prerequisited)
the cool prepackaged knowing of
love; the colour of us
a concoction, a mélange o’sweets:
coffee, French vanillaed with caramel seed,
rum-raisined monkey, strawberries
pistachioed green, chunky
apricot as welcomed
confection scent the baby lotion especial
of escape, an aroma
the crème de la crème
never meant to be seen and mated
on the crumpled papers of somebody’s
Ben & Jerry’s
proposal for a recipe.
But the cone:
cake or waffled…?
(Politician a noun blown
in the zephyr of avaricious magpies craving the chortled
lilting of singsong dozens.)
The flavour of us,
a mystery floating on the wind
of pleasures, complacent
to nothing,
loud
like Wild-Cherry-Turtled-Pistachio-n-Vanilla flavored
ice-cream,
a bitter gift, yet gilded in the sweetness
of guile:
wild.
From with or without… Trust!
