Purpose, Intent & Endearing Philosophy
You see - one can slap a $70 label on a package of $2.50 bologna (baloney) and swear up and down that it is actually a special filet mignon... One can try to sell you a whole bunch of kudzu and really expect you to believe that its a $200 bouquet of rare pigmy orchids... One can also (forgive the horrible cliché) put beautiful feathers on his/her head and promise that what you actually see is not a peacock, but rather a crown of thorns and that one is Jesus... So along these same lines I like to think that we know the diff'rence between baloney and incorrigible weeds... Poetry is and of the fine language of scribes that have sensitivity and uniqueness in stride and tell it right! I understand the beauty of poesy, therefore I too expect you to understand.
Again I welcome you to Jacquii's Poetry Spot, where my purpose is to show you the diff'rence between peacock feathers & crooked thorns. more...

Obsession With Technicolor: Preface to a Memoire in Epiphany is a book of poetry in two parts that's a testimony on the theme freedom & liberation. This aptly scribed volume explores the many methods of righting transgressions of years past; bridging the gap between perseverance & attaining freedom. It is a spiritually satisfying read whilst maintaining the humor that is so desperately needed while in the midst of tribulation.
You may read excerpts and see the manifesto at the link above. If interested in publishing this exquisite volume, please contact me at Jacquii@PoetJC.info. |
Passion Murmurs
water in my glass; dew
supple as a longing love,
lingering shadows
clock caws like ravens,
crow ticks crucial as subtle
cravings in my loins
tapping on floors
like whisperings of secret laws
at my love-soaked sheets
music like mambos:
wind on my window, raucous
like passion murmurs
