Jacquii is the recipient of an "Honorable Mention" award for her poem "Tis The Gentle Of This Knight A' Calling" in the October WOSIB Literary Garden Poetry Contest.
Jacquii has two poems slated to appear in Pyramid Arts and Poetry Magazine. This esteemed publication is about uniting the art, literature and film communities of Rome and New York. The poems "Tribulations of a Wheel" and "Statuettes " are to be published in the premier issue.
One can read book critiques/reviews of the newest African American authors on the literary scene at Mahogany Media Review. Also included within the site is a variety of my various reviews as well.
Jacquii Cooke is the featured poet for the June,2005 edition of the online journal Outsider Ink. Her poem "Hooves Quicker Than..." appears as the Spotlight piece for poetry. |
